About the Author
My academic background is in political economy and sustainable development. My work experience is at the intersection of higher education, nonfiction filmmaking, climate science, social economics, and governance. I am currently a faculty member at a university, which allows me to interact with a variety of topics that align with my interests.
My current focus is understanding how governance, politics, and democracy influence learning, environmental action, and public perception. I am particularly interested in how ‘undemocratic’ regimes maintain public support, how political behaviour shapes policy demand, and how cultural capital shapes new understandings and behaviour in the polity.
Managu is an extension of these interests—an exploration of the narratives that define our present and shape our future.
